If you are a parent or guardian of a Mansfield Elementary student, you are automatically a member of the PTO. Welcome! We encourage you to attend an upcoming meeting and get involved in whatever way works best for your family.
This page includes information on attending PTO meetings, volunteering, and the best ways to donate to the PTO.
Attending PTO Meetings
The Mansfield Elementary PTO holds a community meeting about every other month during the school year. These dates are included on the homepage of this website and on the magnet sent home with your children at the start of the year.
Meetings are held at the elementary school at 6:30 PM. Childcare and food for kids is provided to make attending more accessible to all parents. Babysitters are experienced counselors from Holiday Hill Camp here in Mansfield.
These meetings are your opportunity to hear about projects the PTO is working on, bring ideas, and meet other MES parents!
If you are unable to attend meetings, summary minutes will be posted on this website in the week following the meeting.
Volunteering
We are always looking for help in coordinating events, fundraisers, teacher appreciation events, enrichment activities and more!
This year the PTO will be hosting 3 main community events – a fall festival, winter dance, and spring book festival. There will be committees in charge of planning and executing all of those events. We will need parent support!

Donating to the PTO
The Mansfield Elementary PTO runs a number of fundraisers throughout the year to help support community events, field trips, grade-level activities, and teacher appreciation gifts.
Announcements about specific fundraisers will be sent home with your student, posted on this website, and shared in our Mansfield Elementary PTO Facebook group.
We also always accept donations via our Givebutter (https://givebutter.com/MES-donate) or via checks made out to Mansfield Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization.
Purchases from our merch store also result in a small donation to the PTO. We have kept pricing as close to cost as possible to make merch affordable.
